Paragliding

One of the really cool things you can do on your winter sports vacation is a paragliding tandem flight from the Schmittenhöhe in the middle of the Zell am See ski area. Depending on the wind direction, you can even take off on skis. You can wear ski boots anyway if there is a bit of wind. You can also fly with your own ski suit, ski helmet, goggles and gloves. So you hardly lose any time on your ski day. Especially when the snow gets slushy later in the winter in the afternoon, it is a good idea to take a tandem flight after a wonderful day of skiing or snowboarding. The landing site is also just a 5-minute walk from Landhaus Kitzblick, so you’ll feel right at home. If you fly at lunchtime, you can also land in the Schmittental and take the gondola back up quickly to continue enjoying your day’s skiing.
